Terms of use
The rules for using Vagón.

By using vagonpuertorico.com or the Vagón Puerto Rico mobile app, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the services.
Acceptance
These terms form an agreement between you and Vagón Puerto Rico, Inc. They apply to the public website, the buyer portal, the iOS app, and any communication we have via WhatsApp, email, or phone within the sales and support process.
Your account
To access the portal or app, you sign in with your email through Google. You're responsible for keeping your session secure and letting us know if you suspect unauthorized access.
One account belongs to one person. If you bought together with a spouse, partner, or family member, we can link multiple accounts to the same sale when needed.
Purchases and payments
The purchase process happens through WhatsApp or in person with a rep. The portal and app are tracking tools: they show your balance, recorded payments, dates, and construction progress.
No payments are processed inside the portal. Payments happen via transfer, ATH Móvil, or other methods coordinated with your rep. The team records each payment manually after confirming it. If you see a payment you didn't make, or one is missing that you did make, contact us immediately.
Deadlines and late fees apply per the contract you signed with your rep. The portal shows those deadlines as reminders.
Support and service tickets
You can open a service ticket inside the portal or app for fourteen (14) days after receiving your unit, to report physical damage, missing items, or defects. After that period, issues are handled under the warranty terms of the contract.
Our first-response target is one business day for normal tickets and four business hours for urgent ones. It's not a contractual promise, but we do our best.
Content you upload
The photos, videos, and messages you upload to the portal remain yours. You give us permission to display them to the Vagón team and to store them while your sale is active, for service purposes only.
Do not upload illegal, offensive, or rights-infringing content. We can remove content that violates these rules and suspend accounts that do so repeatedly.
Liability
We do our best to keep the portal and app running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime can happen due to maintenance, third-party failures (Supabase, Vercel, Apple), or events outside our control.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss arising from use of the software. Our liability related to your unit is governed by the purchase contract, not by these terms.
Governing law
These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Any dispute that isn't resolved through ordinary service channels will be litigated in the courts of Puerto Rico.
